As people prepare to binge their way to the end of the mega-hit Game of Thrones, many are looking for appropriate ales and quaffs to wash down their Westeros woes.

Fortunately, our friend Kim Simone of Vinitas Wine Works has the perfect preparation!

On March 1 from 6-8 PM, Kim will be offering a class at Boston Center for Adult Education on Arlington Street that will take students on a wonderful winter winding through the wines that may be enjoyed by their favorite Throne-seekers., including some rare varietals from Europe, the Middle East, and the “New” World.

As Throne fans know, wine is an integral part of both the books and the show and Kim spent many moons reading up on and researching possible sources for the White Walker’s favorite wines. In addition to profiling various characters, she also used maps of Westeros and Essos and compared them to real-world growing regions. By coming to this class, you can enjoy the fruits of her labors!

So whether you like your wines fiery and full-bodied or crisp and cold, Simone will surely be able to guide you on a successful campaign.
